CCGT General Manager, Alison Cook was excited to make the announcement. “Central Coast Group Training decided to sponsor the Central Coast Mariners National Premier League Women’s teams because it really works in well and complements what we are doing with our Building Lady Tradies program. It is all about supporting women and supporting women in non-traditional trades.”
“We are committed to providing opportunities for women and empowering them to succeed in their chosen field. The women’s team have had a great start to the season, and we look forward to supporting them and the growth of women’s football on the Central Coast”.
Alison Cook was joined by the First Grade League One squad members Kaitlin Murphy and Annalise Rasmussen to be presented with the new jersey, with the CCGT logo proudly displayed on the back.
Building Lady Tradies 2.0 is a fee-free program for women who are looking to get a head start in a construction career. This program focuses on all aspects of the construction industry with real trade like experiences, and will gain training competencies through Construction Trade Qualifications that can be transferred should they wish to undertake an apprenticeship in the future. Participants will also receive career guidance and work experience through Central Coast Group Training.
CCGT looks forward to a successful partnership with the Central Coast Mariners Academy Women’s Teams for the 2023 season and beyond.
