2022 Excellence in Training Award winners announced

Central Coast Group Training announced the winners of their 2022 Excellence in Training Awards Night on Friday, 28 October 2022 held at Mingara Recreation Club.

Reflecting on the challenges that many host employers, trainees and apprentices have had to overcome in the past few years, the evening recognised the outstanding work and achievements of those in 2022.

Alison Cook, CCGT Operations Manager celebrated all finalists. “I know that this was one of the hardest years yet for our judging panel with so many outstanding nominees”.

“We have a range of apprentices, trainees and host employers in a wide variety of fields and specialties, and it was great to be able to bring everyone together and recognise the hard work that they’ve been putting in”.

VERTO, Bishop Collins Chartered Accountants, CCTS, Central Coast Council, Star 104.5, myHomecare, Australian College of Commerce and Management, Commonwealth Bank, Brian Hilton Motor Group and Affective Rail partnered with Central Coast Group Training to bring this event to life, and we would like to thank them for their support.

  • Excellence in Training: Caitlin Johnson (myHomecare – Certificate III in Business – ET Australia)
  • Trainee of the Year: Caitlin Johnson (myHomecare – Certificate III in Business)
  • Small Host Employer of the Year: Formation Signs & Plastics
  • Large Host Employer of the Year: Brian Hilton Motor Group
  • Apprentice of the Year: Nathan Smith (Central Coast Council – Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician)
