On Friday 14 October 2022, we attended the 2022 Apprentice Employment Network NSW & ACT (AEN NSW & ACT) Group Training Awards. This exciting evening is held to recognise outstanding achievements in the vocational education and training sector. The awards reward and honour the achievements of apprentices, trainees, host employers and group training organisations.

We were honoured to receive recognition for our 40+ years in the industry, and even more so to have two finalists as part of the CCGT family.

Caitlin Johnson was a finalist for Trainee of the Year, who is hosted by The myHomecare Group Australia. This nomination recognised her strong work ethic, dedication to her studies and professionalism in the work place – and we are all so proud of her for being named a finalist for this category.

Formation Signs and Plastics were named as a finalist for the Host Employer (Small) of the year…and they took out the prize! Craig (business owner) was once an apprentice with Central Coast Group Training who completed his training with Formation Signs & Plastics – and years down the track, bought the business and is now developing new Signwriting Apprentices of his own. We’d like to congratulation Craig, Bec, and the team at Formation Signs & Plastics for their well deserved win!
